Evacuation and financial supports
Emergency financial assistance
- Albertans in need of emergency financial assistance as they leave their community may contact the Income Support Emergency Contact Centre at 1-866-644-5135 or email [email protected].
Evacuation payments
- Albertans who have been evacuated for 7 or more days may be eligible to receive a one-time payment of $1,250 for each adult and an additional $500 for each child under 18. More information on how to apply will be available soon.
Communities under evacuation order or alert
Evacuation Order: Evacuate now, the situation is dangerous. Evacuees should register online or at your local reception centre.
Evacuation Alert: Be prepared to evacuate quickly if situation worsens. Affected residents should check with local municipalities for details and instructions.
